     Spesso compongo un brano in poche ore dando magari l’impressione che anche la composizione di una semplice linea melodica sia una cosa facile. Per comporre questo brano ho impiegato invece diversi mesi, lasciandolo, riprendendolo, ritoccandolo a più riprese. Ho cambiato la tonalità per tre volte, inserito spezzoni, frammenti estrapolati da altri brani che all’opposto rivendicavano maggior diritto di esistenza in questo, finché non ho ottenuto ciò che volevo. Forse suonava meglio in uno degli stadi intermedi, oramai anche irrecuperabili, ma alla fine credo che l’opera debba piacere al suo demiurgo, c’è poco da fare. Ho intitolato questo brano “Adieu “, curioso di conoscere le vostre impressioni. Vi auguro un buon ascolto … un caro abbraccio!

      Often I compose a piece in a few hours, perhaps giving the impression that even the composition of a simple melodic line is an easy thing. It took me several months to compose this piece, leaving it, taking it up, retouching it several times. I changed the key three times, inserted clips, fragments extrapolated from other songs that, on the contrary, claimed a greater right to exist in this one, until I got what I wanted. Perhaps it sounded better in one of the intermediate stages, now also irrecoverable, but in the end I believe that the opera should please its demiurge, there is little to do. I titled this song “Adieu”, curious to know your impressions. I wish you a good listening … a warm hug!
